The Odd and Unforgiving World of PERM Labor Certification

September 22, 2014

In a recently reported case, a small company with only three employees posted its PERM job notice on the wall at work for 10 business days as required by law. Though the notice directed interested applicants to contact a named individual at that location whom all employees knew, it did not state the name of the company.  On August 28, 2014, the labor certification appeals board denied the PERM application for failure to name the company as required by regulation.
